Sad news
Tuesday, May 8th, 2001On Sunday 6 May at 5am, my grandfather, Clifford Wilks, passed away peacefully at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, aged 87, after a long battle against cancer. Although his death is a relief for us as we don’t have to watch him suffer any more, we’re all still very upset. Grandad was full of life and had a wonderful sense of humour, and he was the best grandad anyone could ask for. We are all missing him already , but we are glad that he is now with Violet. May he rest in peace.
