North of the Stupid Line

It’s now December (!) and time is flying by very quickly! I’ve had two exams since that time for Tort (50%) and Evidence (Pass), plus a Misrepresentation test (60%) so I guess I’m not doing too bad! I could have done better, but hey, 2:1 degree students don’t automatically get 2:1s for this course the first time they do an exam! I’ll get it up to a 2:1/Merit before the course is finished, you mark my words!

Only one and half weeks left till we break up and go home for the Christmas vacation. I don’t mind telling you that I can’t wait! It’s been a long term, and to have the end so near is very exciting. I’m looking forward to Christmas, spending time with my family and friends and just generally having a break. Unfortunately, I’ll only be having a week off, as I’ve got coursework to do plus exams to prepare for. But it’ll be quite relaxed I’m sure!

It’s the end of the fifth week at UWE. The last five weeks have gone extremely fast since I started my Postgraduate Diploma in Law. It is proving to be a very intensive course, with 4 lectures, 3 workshops and 3 seminars a week to prepare for (a minimum of 3 hours preparation each). Frankly, I’m quite exhausted! But I’m pleased to say that I am now up-to-date, and I’m now able to study for the above the week before they need to be done! Not bad going, eh? Life has been quite quiet lately while I’ve been settling into the course. To be honest, I think I’ve worked harder these last five weeks than I did for my whole degree! Haha! Till next time..
