London

Oops, a year or so later, here I am! Ok, it hasn’t been that long, but I’m sure for some of you it has felt like it. My life has changed rather dramatically over the last month or so – I finished the LPC, ending it with a fantastic farewell weekend which included a piss-up and smoking of cigarettes and the LPC Ball at the Millennium Stadium. I’m now working and living in London. I’ve secured a job as an Advice Worker for the Royal Association for Deaf People giving legal advice to Deaf people relating to welfare benefits, housing issues, employment and immigration through the medium of BSL. It’s a challenging job, but very good preparation for a career in the legal profession. I’ve also been elected Chairman of the Group for Solicitors with Disabilities, a high-profile role which involves modernising the GSD for the 21st century. So, busy, busy, busy this end!
