Hola from Palma, the capital of Mallorca! Rachel and I have come to this city of cities for a sightseeing tour on the bus (which only cost #2.20 each). What have we done? Well, we arrived at the bus station thing, and promptly got lost and couldn?t see any tourists, so we were starting to feel a bit argh, but then came across an autobus terminal and promptly bought a map of Mallorca / Palma and asked the stand man where we were on the map. As it turned out, where we were wasn?t even on the map! LOL!

He did say, however, that we just need to keep walking straight ahead and we would end up within the boundaries of the map. We ended up where we started when we got off the bus and then went for a well deserved coffee (por me) and coke (por Rachel). We then decided we didn?t want to see any of the historical sites in Palma, and got a taxi to Porto Pi Shopping Centre.

Bliss! It?s basically an air conditioned Spanish version of Cribbs Causeway in Bristol or Brent Cross Shopping Centre. I bought some Issey Miyake aftershave (it?s fresher than my usual fare, gorgeous) and a brown/yellow sweatshirt. Yay! We had some dinner too, steak, chips, veg, fried egg and bacon!

Came to a cybercafe (#2 for an hour) so we’ve both logged in to check emails etc., catch up on blogs and soaps etc. Got 10 mins left, so better flyyyyyy!!
