LLM

I’m now officially a student of the University of Leicester. I started a LLM in Law and Employment Relations on the weekend. It was held Ramada Jarvis Hotel (formerly Grand Hotel) in Leicester. I opted to stay at Ian McDonald’s family home in Groby (pronounced Grooby), which is a small village just outside Leicester.

It was an intensive weekend – on the Saturday alone I had 4 lectures and 2 workshops. You wouldn’t normally have that many sessions in one day when studying full time!

This course is going to be fantastic – we’re studying Contemporary Employment Relations at the moment (Module 1), and I’m delving rather gleefully into the Labour Market and British politics (drool). I know, I’m becoming a very sad person.

Eek.
