Burnt

Yes, I got burnt today. Went out to the swimming pool about 10.45am to try and get some sunbeds with backs that you can mount up to make it easier to read books. Found 2, and just plopped on it till about 4pm.

For the last few days we?ve been using Factor 16 suncream (Nivea no less) and from yesterday I started using Factor 8 (cos I want a tan dammit!), but it was a bit crap sun wise (too many clouds), so didn?t get burnt. Today, despite being very windy, managed to get a little burnt, but not too burnt, I think it will turn a nice brown by the morning. Jealous yet?

I slipped in the shower this afternoon and landed on the floor in a heap, and I?m now nursing a bruised ankle, but I?ll live.

We?ve not done much for the past 4 days, mainly chilling out by the pool. Rachel had her first swim today, I?ve been in about 10 times so far. I was quite amused to see her swimming, especially as I seem to be so much more comfortable in the water. We?re going to Palma on Saturday, and we?ve booked tickets to go and see “Pirates” next Thursday. We?re not going to do much else, except walk around Palma Nova and Maguluf when we?re bored, otherwise it?ll be us and the sun and the pool!

Hope you?re all coping okay without me on MSN, I confess that I haven?t really missed it all that much, it?s been nice just chilling out with Rachel and reading lots of books (I?ve almost finished my 2nd in 4 days).

So Mr Oz, was it worth it, or should he and Rachel just have put deckchairs on the balcony, and brought a paddling pool from Toys R Us?

(huffs and puffs)

Well, well, well. It seems some people are taking advantage of my absence from a PC and taking the piss out of me BIG TIME. (Huffs and puffs and blows all your houses down at the same time).

Seriously though, I laughed lots reading all the posts and comments, so thanks a bunch for that.

Mallorca is lovely – we are very happy with our apartment, which as Alison?s already said, has a direct view of Magaluf Bay. It dropped to 23C last night, which was probably due to the wind, which was soooo nice and refreshing all night. It?s still quite windy this morning, hence not many people by the swimming pool (it?s right next to the sea).

Go on you guys, make fun all you like, just remember that Mr Rob is watching! ;o)

64 = 65?

Whilst Rob is away, you can keep yourself entertained with this puzzle. Mathematicians, please come out of the woodwork and tell me how 64 can = 65? Or is it an illusion?
