Property market
I did something rather mad today. I made an offer for a nice 3-bedroom house in Oakdale, Blackwood! Rachel and I viewed a few properties this weekend in the valleys around the Pentwynmawr area, which included Newbridge, Pontywaun and Abercarn. But we settled for the property in Oakdale simply because it didn’t require any renovation, just redecorate and move in. It’s a lovely home to start off with and we’re hoping that our offer will be accepted.
NB. I’m not going to give you details of the house and what we’ve offered for two simple reasons:
1) I don’t want you to know about our finances; and
2) I don’t want anyone to gazump us!
When the contracts have been exchanged, I will announce more details of our lovely new property and display a picture or two!
