National Minimum Wage

The Government has announced changes to the national minimum wage rates with effect from 1 October 2014. The hourly rate for workers aged 21 and over will increase to £6.50, that for workers aged 18-20 will be £5.13, for workers aged 16 and 17 £3.79 and for apprentices £2.73.
