Dafydd,

Android phones are good – but the current hardware that’s in UK sucks for them (they’re nowhere near as powerful as the iPhone 3GS so you really notice the hardware limitation)

This would be enough to put off someone that is easily impressed by “ohh shiny!” such as Rob here

Nexus One on the other hand would be awesome once it’s in UK (with Vodafone first) – higher resolution screen and faster CPU/GPU.

What about the peer pressure for Android Phones? Surely JG must have tried to persuade you to buy an Android based phone?

Glad you proved that careers adviser wrong I enjoyed reading your story, and just wondered if you would be interested in letting us include it on our website.

I work for The Careers Group, University of London, and we are developing a new site called Reach providing information and online support via forums to help students overcome any barriers they are experiencing in pursuing their chosen career, be that age, ethnic background, disability and so on.
