North of the Stupid Line

Some of you have been asking for updated pictures of the garage that my clever dad is building, with a little help from his friends (i.e. me and Dad-in-law!).

So, here you are.

As well as the usual work these last few weeks, I’ve been busy building a garage. Yes, you read that right. A garage. Ok, to be fair, I’ve been *helping* my dad build a garage.

You will recall that we had a demolition day on 2 June 2007, during which we demolished our old rather crappy garage which came with the house when we bought it in 2005.

For your information, plans are afoot to build a new garage at some point. If you know anyone who can draw plans for us, give us a shout.

It snowed on Sunday night, and we had a thin blanket of snow the following morning. Here’s the proof.

It didn’t last long, alas – it was more or less gone by lunchtime.

You may not have realised, but Rachel and I have now been happily married for nearly seven months. Yes, you read right, seven months. Amazing how time flies, doesn’t it?
