My last post?

Thursday, September 16th, 2004

I spoke to Rob on MSN this evening, and he was complaining about the lack of entries on this blog. What, he wants more bullying? He must be a sucker for punishment.

Anyway, this is likely to be my last entry in Robosphere, as I’m away tomorrow for the weekend. Rob is back in the UK on Saturday, and readers will probably be left with even more infrequent posts.

Holiday wise, Rob tells me the so called sunny Med has indeed cooled off, and they did not spend the day by the pool today. [Wait til they get back to the UK, and it will be cooler still]. Without sun, there isn’t a lot else to do.

Instead of the poolside, opting for lunch somewhere, and hanging out. His current reading is Hillary Clinton’s book, and by all this american reading he has been doing in 2004, one would wonder if he was contemplating moving across the pond. Tonight they were dressed up, and were going see Pirates, whatever that is.

When he gets back to the UK, Rob starts his LL.M. in Law and Employment Relations in a couple of weeks. Its a distance learning course run by the University of Leicester. Details can be found here. Rob, you are not allowed to change your mind or pull out of the course, as I’ve had enough of the rollercoaster ride you like to take your mates on. If you do, I really will hyjack your blog in protest, and give you more and more websites to work on.

Anyway, as a last signature on this blog, shall I change the CSS? Yes or no. I will think about it …..

Postcard & Cuisine

Tuesday, September 14th, 2004

One thing you have to give credit for Rob about, is his organisation. He gets kicks out of being organised, and this shows with the delivery of his postcard this morning. Yes, I got a postcard BEFORE someone returned from holiday.

It seems he is further intent on winding me up in postcard mode. It mentions heat, more heat, the effects on the body, the sea view, more sea, the pool.

Anyway, what is it with Rob and chinese food? The postcard mentions it, and I believe he had a chinese again last night. How about traditional Spanish food, some tapas and paella?

Mallorca food is meant to be:

Mallorcan cuisine, based on pork, fish and vegetables with generous use of garlic and olive oil, is hearty peasant fare steeped in tradition and rooted in local ingredients.

Rob, how about the local cruisine tonight. Otherwise, what about hols in China?

Bullying over.

Rob becomes famous in PJs

One thing that noone has mentioned, is how Rob rose to fame (again) last week, but this time in his pyjamas. Yes you read that right.

There was an article on a techie blog, on the usage of BSL on the internet, which can be found at a Guide to Ease. There are also pinged links here and here. I’ve also linked on my Notes blog too.

The important thing to note, is the picture of Rob. I will let you into a secret: HE’S IN HIS PYJAMAS!

Just to let the world know, I’m pinging these sites ….

So Mr Oz, was it worth it, or should he and Rachel just have put deckchairs on the balcony, and brought a paddling pool from Toys R Us?
